Satisfactory completion of this unit allows you to apply for a White Card with WorkSafe

Tasmania.

This training course covers:

  • Mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.

  • Demonstration of personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements

  • Working safely to prevent injury or harm to yourself or others around you.

  • Identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards.

  • Understanding basic risk control measures.

  • Identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies.

  • Correct selection and fitting of common Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

A site-specific induction prior to the commencement of construction work will be required.

The unit of competency CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry is

a nationally accredited. On successful completion, you will receive a statement of attainment.


Investment: $120 per person

Minimum Number: 10 people per course

Date and Time: 8 th October 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Workshop Timeframe: 6 hours
