This program is aimed at those who are currently seeking employment who are currently not working, may be long-term unemployed or people from a migrant background who wish to gain employment in the business and administrations sectors.
This program includes a supported work experience component.

Course Content

This program contains nationally recognised units and upon successful completion you will be awarded with:

BSBCMM201 – Communicate in the workplace
BSBCUS201 – Deliver a service to customers
BSBITU212 – Create and use spreadsheets
BSBITU211 – Produce digital text documents
FNSACC311 – Process financial transactions and extract interim reports

Course Information

  • Training will be delivered by one of our professional trainers with extensive industry experience.

  • The training utilises materials such as power point presentations, paper based resources, current industry workbooks, practical tasks, and on-the-job work placements.

  • Assessments will be conducted using Work Placement Diaries, knowledge, case studies, observation and competency conversation assessment tools.

Duration: 9 Weeks

Date: 26th October 2020 - 22nd December 2020

Class Time: 9:30am – 2:30pm

Format: Two days per week in class for 8 weeks – Monday & Tuesday

Venue: South East Trade Training Centre – 10 Forcett Street, Sorell

Cost: Funded places* are limited. This training is subsidised by the Department of State Growth, Tasmania. *Subject to eligibility
